Have you ever noticed that almost all of Germany’s biggest female influencers are from Hamburg?? Coincidence? Or does it fit quite well into the history of our favorite Hanseatic city, which has always been famous as a hot spot for creatives? Hamburg certainly seems to spit out more international careers than GNTM and DSDS combined, which in turn proves that rain makes you creative and French rolls make you smart. Here come 11 of our favorite Hamburg-based influencers, plus good reasons to follow them:

Ok, let’s get right into it, with an Insta-1.5-millionaire and Influencer veteran from Hamburg: Leonie Hanne. The 29-year-old is now so huge internationally that she has to swat away designers who want to throw luxury clothes at her. She likes her legs and hip hop dancing, hates to talk shit and loves to eat acai bowls and avocado bread at Nord Coast, Paledo and Moki’s Goodies in Hamburg. Her Disney-esque curated pictures are like little vacations for the eye – and while you look at her feed, it becomes clear why 1.5 million people click on her every day and you don’t.
2. Marie von den Benken: The crudest word jokes and the longest legs

Whoa, whoa, whoa, get ready for one of our absolute Insta and Twitter favorites! Marie is not without reason one of the most popular Stern columnists , because of her crude word jokes she is already a legend on Twitter for years !
Contrary to all Influencer-usual uniform kind she spoils us daily with Pointen of an extent, which were so far completely unknown in your universe. And she is also a model! For a while it was even rumored that she doesn’t really exist, but is a made-up character of a Hamburg advertising agency, because it’s impossible for a person to have won the ass lottery AND the humor lottery at the same time. But Marie actually lives and breathes Eppendorf. You can see for yourself at Happenpappen, one of her favorite restaurants (Marie is vegan), or at The Room, where she goes to party. Then you can stand next to it and feel like Oliver Pocher next to Ryan Gosling.

Some people just have it, that certain something, charisma, swag… There’s no explanation for that, that’s why it’s called "je ne sais quoi" in french. Xenia is saturated with it from head to toe – her pictures always convey a lightness and a "what’s the cost of the world" feeling. And no clothes in this world can express that. Xenia grew up in Seevetal and has been living in Hamburg (currently Harvestehude) for 6 years. Drinking and partying she goes to Clockers, Gaga and CDN. And eaten preferably Acai Bowl in the "What we really love" and in the evening everything at Ono or in the Bullerei. Xenia loves fries and hates her wrinkled knees. Despite the latter get with her not only her 1 million. followers, but even Zac Efron moist… eyes. When Xenia takes pictures, she earns five figures a month with it. You have that certain something, or you don’t have it.
4. Aminata Belli: Style. Really good (and fashion journalistically sound) style.

Like no other, the 25-year-old from Hamburg refutes the cliche that influencers only post pictures and have learned nothing. Aminata studied fashion journalism and worked as a fashion assistant at Grazia before she started her own business. She knows Hamburg like the back of her hand (has worked in Ottensen, St..Pauli, Horn and Altona before she currently moved to Winterhude) and loves to feast on sandwiches at Transmontana in Schanze, with the – sic.! – worst Galao ever. She likes shopping at Hello Love in Eppendorf and Kauf dich glucklich, and even better at Aldi Nord #nichtmalinfluenceressennuravocadobrot. At the weekend you can meet them in the "Scharfe Ecke", the Rote Flora or in the ubel& Dangerous. And that on flat feet. Aminata missed her chance to get ankle braces when she was 14, and now she’s in trouble.

Vanessa Paradies among Hamburg’s influencers may only be 21, but she earns a nice chunk of money with her selfies and sits at Karl Lagerfeld’s Chanel couture show at the Elbphilharmonie, while we celebrated tequila shots-at-home as an accomplishment at 21. Marie could be a Frenchwoman by the look – so if you always wanted to know how to be parisian wherever you are, you should press follow. Typical Carolin-de-Maigret-esque she never puts on make-up and doesn’t even blow-dry her hair. She just wakes up and looks like this. Unfair. At least she hates her teeth . Whether rightly or not, we can not judge, because she never laughs on photos because of it.
6. Sofia Tsakiridou: exceptionally attractive people who look like they’ve been painted

The sunshine among Hamburg’s influencers a.k.a. Hamburg’s most fascinating eyebrow grew up in Kolle, but has been living in our beautiful Hanseatic city for four years now and feeds herself Insta-visibly through all her favorite restaurants (truffle pasta at Engelke, sushi at Henssler, scrambled eggs at Nord Coast). All this in the company of her model boyfriend Jerome and her Frenchie Karlchen . All three visually at least as appealing as said truffle pizza. You can confirm this live in electro clubs like the Sudpol or in summer at open airs around Hamburg, where Sofia likes to party the most.
7. Jenni Casimiro: Extravagant oversize looks, but always suitable for everyday life

She calls herself "Fashionindividual" on Instagram and that’s exactly how the Portuguese-born designer, who lives in Hamburg and is a clothing, technology & fashion designer, is Management sudiert: a one-of-a-kind when it comes to fashion and style. Jennifer likes to pose in fancy and unusual clothes (lots of oversize, lots of layering, lots of extravagance – and above all: lots of Hamburg!) in front of the backdrop of our atmospheric city of love and lets marvel – this is how fashion goes! She likes to store vintage (Jenny misses the clothes market in Hamburg a lot) or at big chains like Zara, Mango, Asos and H&M Trend/Studio, which is good for anyone who wants high-fashion looks but doesn’t have the budget for it.

The Meghan Markle among the bloggers. Sylvia’s pictures are more works of art than selfies. All those who are a bit more grown up/better off and don’t necessarily identify with Kylie Jenner style will surely find what they are looking for in her. Even those who don’t really know how to dress stylishly to the office and to meet the Queen. Maybe not necessarily those whose mecca is H&M and Primark – Sylvia’s looks don’t look so classy and expensive for no reason – she prefers shopping at Unger and reaches for brands like Celine, Zimmermann and Chanel.

We have taken Julia as a representative for all GNTM-Influencers from Hamburg, which also include Anna Wilken, Elena Carriere and Greta Faeser. Pretty girls, who every year are flushed up into the 400k range on Instagram in line with the GNTM season and become influencers when the international modeling career doesn’t really want to ignite. Why not? Being paid to present brand-name clothes in front of the camera is, after all, related to modeling (= being paid to present brand-name clothes in front of the camera).

If you had to choose just one word to describe Aylin, it would be: hoodie! If you like hoodies and would love to pair them with pretty much anything every day, look no further than this style-savvy half-Turk for inspiration. Aylin owns hoodies in pretty much every color in existence that a human eye can perceive – and styles them with anything that’s out of its tree. She lives with her fiance Tobias (whom she will soon marry in Mallorca) and her pug Summer in Uhlenhorst.

Noooo, we haven’t forgotten about her, of course: Caro Daur, probably the most famous influencer from Hamburg (grew up in Seevetal), now also D&G model, celebrity and Chateau Marmont regular in LA. No matter which magazine you open – Caro is in it. Whether it’s the Cannes Film Festival or the VMAs, Caro is there because she’s made it. She even has a Starbucks card that gets her free coffee at any Starbucks (#lifegoals). By the way, she likes to drink her coffee very hot. Is recognized, approached and asked for selfies on Hamburg’s streets – if she is ever here, which she is not most days of the year – more often than Taylor Swift. Still likes to go to the North Coast for waffle dinners. Hates her hair and doesn’t like feet. Likes for it her eye color, Justin Bieber and Surfer Boys all the more.
