But people also like to try out new methods, especially if they are widely shared and thus spread via social media. Lose weight with coffee? The diet drink promises these effects

Lemon juice is said to have a promising weight loss effect*: The ingredients contained, such as vitamin C, are said to boost fat burning and keep the metabolism running at full speed for several hours.

As the sports and health magazine fitforfun.en According to reports, bitter flavors contained in both coffee and lemon juice curb the appetite and are thus said to prevent cravings. A positive side effect: Some nutrients of the lemon counteract skin aging, strengthen the immune system as well as hair growth.

Lose weight with coffee: How to prepare the drink yourself

Black coffee contains only a few calories and has a high level of vitamin B, which supports the natural energy metabolism. Caffeine is also said to help stimulate fat burning. Both drinks thus contain ingredients that are particularly interesting for dieters.

A fresh coffee with admixed lemon juice is however by no means a miracle drink, which lets the Kilos melt away unceremoniously automatically. A healthy, balanced diet as well as sufficient exercise should continue to be the basis and can be additionally supplemented by the mixed drink.

This is the best way to prepare the diet drink:

  • 1. Making coffee: Allow a cup of black coffee to cool for a short time after brewing, as the vitamin C from the lemon juice is very sensitive to heat and could lose its effect.
  • 2. Making lemon juice: The most effective way to make lemon juice yourself is with a lemon squeezer. For this purpose, an organic lemon is particularly suitable, in the cultivation of which no harmful pesticides were used.
  • 3. Mixing coffee with lemon juice: Add the juice of half a lemon to the coffee and stir properly.
